Products are created partly using generative artificial intelligence (AI). Minor artistic variations may occur and illustrations may not be photorealistic representations of uploaded images.

2. Applicability

These terms apply to every offer made by the Seller and every agreement concluded between the Buyer and the Seller. Deviations are valid only if agreed in writing.

3. Offer and Establishment of Agreement

3.1 Offer

All offers are without obligation unless expressly stated. Prices and specifications may change. Obvious errors do not bind the Seller.

3.2 Ordering Process

The Agreement is formed when the Buyer completes the ordering and payment process and receives confirmation by email.

4. Prices and Payment

5.3 Project File Retention

Digital book files are retained for up to 10 weeks after creation, after which they are permanently deleted.

6. Right of Withdrawal, Cancellation and Returns

Personalised products are exempt from the statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Digital E-books cannot be cancelled once generation has started.

Physical Books cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.

Refunds are only considered in cases of verified production defects.

7. Quality and AI-Generated Content

Products are created with AI assistance. Minor deviations or artistic differences are not defects.

Buyers should review digital proofs carefully before ordering physical copies.

Legal consumer guarantees apply in accordance with UK law.

8. Usage Rights and Buyer Responsibility

The Buyer is responsible for all uploaded content and confirms it does not infringe third-party rights.

The Buyer indemnifies the Seller against claims arising from unlawful or infringing material submitted.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Website and underlying technology remain with ChildHeroStoryBooks.com or its licensors.

After payment, the Buyer receives a non-exclusive licence for personal, non-commercial use only.

10. Content Guidelines

Buyers must not submit unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or infringing material.

Orders violating these rules may be cancelled without compensation.

11. Liability

Liability is limited to direct damages up to the purchase price of the Product.

The Seller is not liable for indirect or consequential damages unless caused by gross negligence or intent.
